    I just tried Stream Direct over a recent weekend and after about an hour asked for my money back. What’s wrong?

    1) The desktop interface is poor. With any search, one can only see
    several channels at once, even though there may be well over a hundred
    in the list;

    2) Most of the channels I tried from the desktop interface that I knew
    were currently on came up “Ready,” i.e., nothing showing. OTOH, many
    of the ones found via the member area worked.

    3) The Easy HDTV DVR software is, as far as I can tell, a hoax. Yes,
    you get the software, but not the keycode for going past the 30-day
    trial. And if you go to the software company’s site,
    EnigmaIndustries.com, and look at the FAQ, they talk about sites like
    Stream Direct that mislead customers into thinking that the software allows recording of streaming video. According to Enigma, the software keycode has to be purchased individually from them and, in any event, the program is *not* for Internet TV, which instead requires a “hardware TV tuner installed in it that is connected to an antenna or cable outlet.” (this is also apparent from the program’s set up choices)

    4) When I asked in advance of purchasing about a couple of countries in particular that I didn’t see listed, the reply from customer service was the standard advertising pitch, nothing specific to what I had asked.

    I will give them and Click Bank credit for one thing. They do process refunds with due speed, one business day in my case.

      SCAM SCAM SCAM Stay Away from this garbage. Save yourself some grief and go to justin.tv or hulu.com on your own. Do not pay for a link to it.
