save your money do not buy this product the picture quality is not up to snuff and they dont have 3500 chanels they do howevery have lots of copies of the same channels.I paid 60 dollars and was very dissapointed, and I asked for a refund ,because satelite direct did not live up to its claims.I cannot get a responce from any one and not happy about it .This is a scam save your money .

I tried satellitedirect and this is a scrap which does not provide HD just 320×240 resolution channel and most of them are offline. Their Tech support service was too bad.

I paid $50 because there was a guarentee refuned within a 30 day trial period. Well, no one will reply to the many many email’s I’ve sent to their “so called customer support.” I’ve been trying to get a reply for a week now after having the service for less than 7 days. They just take your money and that’s that. Your just plain out of luck if you think you will get your money back. AGAIN, IT’S A SCAM. BUYER BEWAIR.

the product is a rip off do your research when your movies come up hello you already have that on the internet for free….. and you just paid how much for something you already get for free??? Send them something telling them you want a refund and how they rip people off they say 1 or 2 business day in fact they will not respond period…
If you have been ripped off you could trying going through your credit card and cancelling the payment. I have used this rarely but it has worked. They will investigate and see if it is a legitamate claim on your part then credit your account. In everyday transactions at stores it is an added benefit over debit cards or cash.
Rather than just say stay away it’s a scam…can you tell me what makes it a scam?

Don’t contact the seller for a refund (RAISE A DISPUTE ON PAYPAL – it’s the only way you’ll get your money back).
It could be a little tricky though (now they’ve amended their website).
I have a word doc with screen shots of their “inaccurate product description” (dated circa 23/3/2011) if anyone would like a copy emailed to them.

What I don’t understand is how a person can’t seem to get his/her money back. Once you pay for a clickbank product, like Satellite Direct, you immediately receive an email from them. The email will have your customer’s order number and instructions with a link to look up your order.
Now once you have your order information before you, you can go a step further and request a full refund from Clickbank — this is a highly reputable company and they do honor their refund policy (I received full refunds each time I made a request in the past) — so that’s not a scam. In fact, you can even contact Clickbank by phone.
Why people are requesting a refund directly from Satellite Direct amazes me when Clickbank is the payment processor that handles all orders (it’s in the email), even if you paid through PayPal. Okay, so Satellite Direct didn’t work or fell short of ones expectation but like any Clickbank product you simply request a refund within the 60-day money back guarantee. It’s as simple as that!
I am not protecting Satellite Direct, just challenging people who claim that you don’t get a refund when requesting it. So the issue goes a bit further than Satellite Direct. Get your money back and that should stop all the time being wasted posting scam alerts on various sties, without providing all the facts so that people can get a clear understanding what’s going on.
One more thing, Satellite Direct is now offering a $4.95 5-day trial for anyone that wants to try it out on his/her computer and see for themselves, and can cancel anytime within the 5 days or continue with the subscription.

People have every reason to be irritated by this scam. It is a scam, otherwise people would be saying positive things.

The nice thing for scams like yours, Phil, is that by the time Satellite Direct has collected millions of duped customers, then refunds the money after 60 days, they’ve already collected a nice sum of interest from your scheme.
That’s what it’s all about. Make a phony website, with fancy graphics that is advertising something everybody wants, but that is not yet available and you can make millions knowing full well nobody is going to get what they want. Many won’t even bother with the hassle to get $45.00 back. So, Satellite wins both ways. They get to keep some of the money sent, and all the interest they made from their scam.

Wow i nearly fell for their slick advertising on the net till i found they had been in the poo in 2009 in England and it seems the same people may be targeting Aust and NZ now, do some research and it looks like they should be busted quickly.

This is by far the worst product I’ve bought in my life. The channels are all fifth or sixth-rate videos, many of which you wouldn’t watch for free. There are traffic cameras, homemade computer-generated videos, the same two religious shows on several channels, and plenty of blocked channels. The only thing I was remotely interested in was the Felix the Cat Channel, but not 50 bucks’ worth. If you fell for this scam, like I did, go to Clickbank and report that the service didn’t meet your expectations. Then watch Hulu.

I bought Satellite Direct. First when I looked on the channel list I was disappointed as certeinly there is no 3500 channels unless you get the premium package. But I was happy I watched the free hungarian and UK channels on it. My problem is that I changed internet provider and I think my IP address has changed with it. After I started to use the new internet provider when I launs Satellite Direct a window comes up that I already installed the product on a computer of mine. Yes but same computer, same software just the internet provider has changed. No answer I am not surprised and their online chat is never online. Always offline what makes me more suspicious. So don’t buy this.
This is a scam…. I signed up about a year ago…. I have not been able to get any movies/ tv programs as advertised… Please do not sign-up…. you will loose your money and be frustrated with what you will get…. I live in Canada and am very disappointed with what I can get… It’s garbage…. Be warned

I too fell for this scam on two of my computers. It works for about a week and then most of the stations become embedded and you can’t see them. No support what so ever. I will never fall for a product like this again. They are rippoffs.
When I first checked out this product, it seems to work just fine comparing to the other products. However, after having it for a while, it doesn’t work like it’s supposed to be no more. STAY AWAY

You can find the best bang for your bucks when identifying the top leading brands and testing their support service prior to making a purchase. It’s not about which Internet TV software offers the most channels or bells and whistles or bonuses. Basically, all these products mirror one another but the better ones have good support and response time. So the best thing to do is email the support service with your questions and see if they respond back. If they don’t, then focus on another software.
Also, test your computer first to see if there’s a compatibility-to-software issue. It’s not always the software that fails to work but the user’s computer that has other software and hardware that keeps these products from working. Only stick with the software service that use Clickbank, Plimus, PayPal, etc., as their payment processor. This ensures the iron-clad money back guarantee with on questions asked – No hype here!
Never contact the software service directly for a refund after you sent money to a payment processor, contact the payment processor instead. Requesting a chargeback from your bank is unnecessary and takes too long to get your money back.

Bucklin, to answer your question… simply open your Clickbank email. It has your order number and other information. You can look up your order, call or email Clickbank.
I have to reiterate what has been posted about Clickbank, you WILL get a refund from them if you ask. Why are you all crying about not getting a refund? Did you go direct to the company and not through Clickbank?
Basically what you are paying for with this is the software to search the internet for the tv stations. You COULD do it yourself but this is just an aggregater. It does it for you. So you get tons of crap and have to weed it out.
Personally, I go searching for this stuff myself and so don’t need this software. I know people who have it and are “satisfied” with it because they take the time to weed out the garbage that is coming in.
Think before you buy. Did you really expect to get 3,500+ GOOD channels for $50??? Really? I have a bridge to Hawaii to sell you.
My first clue way back when is I couldn’t find a list of stations. NO way was I buying a product without the full scoop. I wanted to know what I was getting and it isn’t available. So stop screaming and crying. You didn’t do your homework, and still haven’t if you think you “lost” money. You get what you deserve. It is hilarious to us who actually use our brains before buying.

This product is a total rip-off scam. Do not purchase this product! The advertising is fake. The movies suck. The TV programming is pitiful, the picture quality is more pitiful. Don’t waste your time or money! I just call AE and got my money back and blocked SatellieDirect from re-billing my account. If you have purchased this product, contact your payment service and tell them you purchased a scam, and if you have a card like AE, no worries.

nothing these 3500 stations, just old stuff, news, weather, sports and very old movies that tend to buffer every 5 minutes or so to watch a movie is the pits!!!!! And I have extreme high speed cable. If you like buffering? Every few minutres or less this software is for you!
